Horn of Africa

The "Horn of Africa" is found in the north east portion of Africa comprising of the countries of: Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea.

It is so named for its shape, which looks like and old shell horn (musical) not animal horn.

The country that forms the horn of Africa is Somalia.

The "horn of Africa" got its name form the horn-shaped figure at the east of Africa. The east coast of Africa is shaped like a horned animal, like a rhino.

Djibouti is physically located upon the Horn of Africa.
