A Dodge Dakota does not have a reset switch.
Gm vehicle do not have one.
According to the 2002 Mercury Mountaineer Owner Guide : The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the front passenger footwell , by the kick panel
you can as long as it is withing certain years 1996-1999 cavalier engine will work in a 96-99 sunfire and a 99-02 cav engine will fit a 99-02 sunfire
It is the same for both motors (2.2L and 2.4L), so yes the fuel pump should be the same in all Cavaliers/Sunfires between the yrs of 1996 and 2005
GM vehicles do not use inertia/reset switches.
Go to one of the big box parts store's webpage. Compare the part number of the fuel pump for each car. If the part number is the same, it should interchange. If the numbers are different, they probably won't.
One way to find out, is to look up the parts on one of the big box parts store's websites. If the part numbers are the same, they should interchange.
Some have a safety switch that shuts fuel pump off if oil pressure drops
