05 grand prix gt PCV valve location?
The 2005 Grand Prix Base model and GT models have 3.8L's and the GXP models have the 5.3L V8. I know the location on the 3.8L.
- Take the engine cover off
- Look at the very top of the motor, the intake manifold.
- There are fuel rails running over the top of this manifold.
- There is a bolt holding 2 of the rails in place right in the middle.
- To the bottom right of this bolt is the PCV valve.
- It has two bolts holding it in and no lines running to it.
The PCV valve is located under the MAP sensor on a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix. The MAP sensor is in the upper plenum.

The PCV is a small metal cylinder the is plugged into the top of the valve cover and has a 1/2" coming out the other end.

PCV Valve Location I just changed mines recently. Remove the top cover. It should be located on the left side (passenger side) next to the fuse box. It has a plastic covering that reads sensor. Look for the wiring. That's correct if its a Grand Prix GT. Yes, a person can get a diagram of the PCV valve location in a 1989-1999 Mercury Grand Marquis. This diagram would be located in the maintenance books found in auto part stores.

The PCV valve on q 2007 Torrent is made into the valve cover. It is not removable, the valve cover and PCV valve must be replaced together.
4.0L does not have a PCV valve, it uses an orifice in the rear of the valve cover.

I KNOW TRYING TO LOCATE THE PCV ON 2004 GTP IS FUSTRATING, I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! SPEAKING TO THE PONTAIC DEALER I WAS TOLD IT IS LOCATED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE, ON THE SUPER CHARGER. GOOD LUCK!!!!
Take the cover off and the PCV valve is inside the black plastic thing on the right (passenger) side of the engine. Press down and twist off the cover. Be careful, though, they break easy.
purchase the pcv valve from dealer and get free diagram of its location along with purchase. Usually, you disconnect the whose attached to the valve and pull the valve out.
