Well not much you can do. It's her choice. You had a choice when you had sex and didn't use protection. You two need to sit down calmly with your parents and talk about:
- Do you want to be a dad? You will still have to pay child support but not see the child or be a dad and pay.
- How much does a baby cost? Where will the two of you get that money?
- Can your parents help? If they can babysit she can get a job. Can you get a job on the side or the weekends and still handle college?
- How can both families help so you can stay in college? You will both benefit with an education so you can get a good job and provide for the baby.
- How can she go to school? Are there schools with daycare or can your parents or grandparents help out? Make up a plan for the future.
W/e happens with your relationship, and I would suggest counseling, the baby seems to be here to stay. See if you can get in touch with other teen parents and see how their lives are and get tips.
