The best way to verify if the car is an actual SS model is to find a copy of the build sheet. I found mine between the springs and the foam of the drivers seat. I have heard there may be another build sheet on top of the gas tank, but that is obviously harder to reach. Most SS models will have a factory tachometer, an automatic leveling compressor under the hood with air shcks in the rear, bucket seats, and a console shifter.
