CV joints (constant velocity joints) get them replaced or you're gonna be in trouble real soon. Not very expensive to replace.
your question makes no sense.
I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS and the only time it turned off on me was when my radiator had broken and the car was over heating. Its turns off so it wont explode.
If the popping sound is more like you feel bumping in the steering wheel then its the I-shaft in the steering column. If the car is newer then check your warranty at the dealership, they will cover the replacement. could be the rear strut bushings are bad.
There are sensors in the bumpers and frame. An impact of 5 miles per hour or above will deploy them.jd
i know i have a 96 z34 and that's what i thought it was and what a local auto repair guy thought it was...until he got looking at it....on mine it was the bearing on the AC compressor...hope that helpsAnswerTurning the steering wheel causes more tension on the front of the power steering pump and in turn cause more tension on everything else the belt turns, e.g. a/c compressor, alternator, even a bad bearing in the idler and tensioner pulleys.
I'm sure someone out there makes one for the 3.4, call summit racing and ask them the same question.
Could be bad gas, fuel filter plugged ,bad spark or timeing, air breather real dirty.
I have a 2001 Monte Carlo and mine started sputtering. It took me about a month to fix it but all I needed was a tune up....but all I did basically is change the spark plugs and wires out and now it runs great
Probably distributor cap, ignition timing, timing chain/cam timing or burned exhaust valve(s). Pick one.
might be your struts, or more than likely since it happens when you turn it is probably a CV joint
I have one, and it does have the tire pressure warning. It is displayed in the same message center as the low fuel warning, and it makes the same warning sound.
