The mechanical fuel pump on this vehicle has an arm that fits into the front housing on the engine, and is "pumped" by an eccentric that bolts to the end of the camshaft and timing gear set. If I am not mistaken, depending on the series of engine that you have, the arm can be two different lengths or the eccentric might have come off the dowell pin that it locates itself on.
A 1976 Ford Bronco would still have a carburetor for the engine , so it does not have a fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) like the Ford fuel injected engines do ( that use an electric fuel pump ) * if that is what you mean

Possibly the fuel filter is clogged. Replace it before proceeding. Make sure the fuel line is not crimped. And above all make sure the fuel tank has fuel in it.
Your fuel pump would be located in the gas tank. It is mounted on the pick-up tube/sending unit assembly.
The electric fuel pump is inside the fuel tank
its located in the fuel tank you will have to pull the tank down
I don't believe it has one. That's a Ford thing.
