Check all the fuses, and to make sure the wiring is all good?
u might have broke something the actual ignition lock cylinder, that would be my guess from the sounds of it.
you either overlooked a hot lead that needs to be reconnected at the battery, or you grounded a hot wire and blew a fuse or fusible link wire

Defective, corroded, or loose battery cable.
Defective ignition switch, or bad starter.
The security light comes on after you changed the keys in the ignition from the off position to the on position as a confirmation that the electrical components in the dash board are working. It is nothing to be concerned about.
It could be a bad battery, or connection. A bad starter and or solenoid could be the problem, along with an ignition switch to name a few.
well i have a viper 5000 and i changed the battery and nothing changed im not sure about other viper alarms though
Check for bad connections or fusable link
Could beAlso check the starter solenoid and loose or corroded battery cablesand starter
Dead battery, defective ignition switch, blown main fuse, loose or corroded battery cable at either end.
