Me too on a 2001 Sequoia. Drives fine, headlights, parking lights and dash lights work but that's it. Backup lights, air conditioner controls, all gauges, all indicator lights on dash all dead - all at the same time.
if you have no headlights the battery is dead or one of therminals is very corroded.
Take it to the dealer and let them put there gauges on them to get them set right.
Loose battery or alterator connections
Take it to the shop and let them put the gauges on the lights to adjust them so there set right.

Anywhere as long as it is not in either extreme position, Remember gauges are just an indicator and not "gospel"
if the knob used to turn you headlights on is pulled to turn them on, try turning the knob counter-clock-wise and that should turn the gauge lights on and if you keep turning it it will turn the dome light on too.
Malfunction Indicator Light On Dash Panel i.e.: Service Engine Soon Brake Check gauges Oil Charging system etc.
Anywhere in the "Normal" range. Gauges are not an exact science - just an indicator As long as they are not at one extreme or the other you should be OK
Nothing as long as it is within normal operating range Gauges are just and indicator--not gospel
There are fuses underneath the indicator light panel between the gauges. The other ones are under the left hand side cover plate in front of the battery
