Sounds like one of the two (or both) oxygen sensors located on the exhaust pipe. They are fairly expensive and you should notice the check engine light on the dash cluster is lit.
The other possibility is a vacuum leak or it could also be bad plugs and wires, these won't necessarily make the check engine light come on. Oh and another thing it could be is dirty fuel injectors. Sorry, I know that's a lot of things but from the description you gave it all I can say.

I would like to know that myself. I have a 1990 2.4L Caravan. I put in a used tranny when the other failed. a Month later it started to bog down while driving. It only happens when the engine heats up. Then I have to floor it to get to speed and it still acts like the engine cuts out and comes back and cuts out again. I stand on the brake while in gear and give it gas and it starts to stumble. Put it in park and rev it and the engine runs fine. I am wondering if it isn't the shift solenoid?
No.
it might be b/c you are either switching the clutch too early or too late. it might need a curtain part, this happened to my fathers Honda dx
My 2002 Caravan was cutting out when I slowed to make a turn or stop at a stop light. It would then rev up high and try to lurch forward. I also felt like the torque converter was slipping in and out at around 50 mph. No codes were thrown from the computer. I went for a year and a half and several mechanics before someone suggested I replace the TPS (throttle position sensor). I got one at Autozone for 20 dollars and it fixed everything! Good luck.
The most basic way is to record the ambient temperature, record the temperature of the air coming out of the vents, hook up a manifold gauge set, and record the system pressures on each side of the system, both at their lowest point, and at their highest point (right before the compressor clutch cuts out). The resister cuts the voltage to 6v.. in run pos,Will send 12v to coil in start pos.
symptoms of a bad sensor will be , engine cutting out then starting again as you drive. cutting out then being able to restart when vehicle is stopped. hard starting. if left long enuff before replacing, you will not be able to restart
