Here is one way to check and see if fuel pump is working. This will require extra body so that you can kneel down to hear the fuel pump. Have the extra turn the key to the run positon while you are knelling down next to the driverside to hear a buzzing noise coming from the tank. It will only come on for just a few seconds and is for priming the fuel system for start. If you don't hear anything then you will need to lift the hood and find a black cover to the passenger side firewall just over the A/C hose entrance. Under the triangle shape cover there should be some relays and black plastic fuse cover. That black cover is the fuse for the fuel pump. Check to see if blown. If not, then you might want too check with a voltage meter at the pump connection to see if you are getting voltage. Also did you replace the fuel filter? I am not talking about the screen in the tank, but the inline fuel filter that is mounted on the frame under the driverside of the truck. I have seen where that doesn't get replaced like it should. At least twice a year is good. You can check the injectors to see if fuel is coming in by having the extra turn the key and watch for fuel spraying in. If so then you have a different problem, could be computer or ignition. YES to checking all grounds that you can find for the pump as well as the Engine itself. There have been times I have run into that on Fords for their fuel system on earlier T-Birds 80's. If you need more in depth the try the local Library in the reference auto section. The sometimes have Manuals that will get more in depth then Chiltons or Haines. Good luck and hope I helped in someway.
be sure you are getting fire to the spark plugs via control mudule dist, timing [chain/belt] you are getting fuel but not the right pessure, I had to change the fuel pump and got it running ok $200 changed it myself
Sixth graders should be getting changed for physical education. Most of these kids will be hitting puberty and be getting sweaty during class. As for if they should change in a locker room, I do think they should. Would you rather them change in front of their whole class?
They come out the top of the throttle body. Clean area thoroughly before replacing the injectors to avoid any dirt getting in to the system.
It should have 19# injectors from the factory... They are all 19#/hr injectors. After 1998 the only change in the injectors was the spray pattern. The later model injectors do not flow more, but they do have a better spray pattern.
change the injectors you could have plugged injectors.
it means that you should change the 4 injectors, if Megane has driven more than 180000 km it means that the injectors are amortizised.
Only if and when they start leaking and go bad
There are several things that can cause your 2001 Pontiac Grand Am 2.4 liter engine to misfire. The next thing you should change will be the fuel injectors.
To change fuel injectors on a 2002 Honda Civic unclip them from the harness. The fuel rail will need to be removed and the injectors will be able to come off.
i believe it is under upper part of intake by injectors- not very easy to get to. u sure it has to be changed??
No
By chance, did you change the ECU out when you converted to non-turbo? If not, there's your problem.
