Oil pump's bad. Keys are probably sheared off on the scavenger side. Don't buy HD.
That depends on whether it's carbureted or fuel injected. To start a carbureted Electra Glide, first open the petcock (if so equipped, depending on year). Make sure the kill switch (on right handlebar switchbox) is in the "run" position (if so equipped, depending on year). Turn on the ignition and check to be sure the transmission is in neutral (indicated by a green light on the dash). Pull out the choke knob and push the starter button (on right handlebar switchbox) until the motor starts. As soon as is practical, push the choke knob back in and use throttle alone to keep motor revolutions above 1,000 RPM until the motor warms up. To start a fuel injected Electra Glide, turn on the ignition and check to be sure the transmission is in neutral (indicated by a green light on the dash). Make sure the kill switch (on right handlebar switchbox) is in the "run" position. Wait until the red engine light on the dash goes off then push the starter button (on right handlebar switchbox) until the bike starts. On Electra Glide models made before 1970 there is a kickstarter in addition to the electric starter.
I lost my spots and head light on the way home last night. Thank God for no cops. The spot light went out on the dash and of course no lights. I'm thinking fuze and my guess is under the seat or the front ferring or body. Help?
