You need a new motor for your headlight doors. The old motor is dying. You can purchase inexpensive motors from the junkyard.
About the only thing they have in common is the headlight switch. Have it checked out.
There are four screws you need to take off. Only take the outer four corner ones. There are two other screws on the left and right of the head light leave those as is. Anyways just unscrew the four screws and pull the headlight off..and change the headlight!

If I understand your question correctly, your vehicle may have a separate relay for each function. The relay for locking the doors by using the switch has gone bad.
