I just did a entire ac replacement for the 1990 gmc sierra. You can use a test light to test the plug that is located at the top of the compressor. If it does not light up, you more than likely have a bad electronic dash control. Most importantly the clutch will not engage if the freon is low, so check your freon levels before you do anything. Hope this helps.
Torque Converter Clutch, Air conditioning, Cooling Fan, Emission Controls.
The Constant Control Relay Module(CCRM)interfaces with the Power Control Module(PCM)to provide control of the cooling fan, A/C Clutch and fuel pump. The module also includes the electronic engine control(EEC)relay to provide power the PCMThe CCRM is a set of 4 relays in one module. The relays are :1. Relay for the PCM (Powertrain Control Module)2. Relays for the high and low radiator fan speeds.3. Relay for the fuel pump.4. Relay for the Air Conditioning clutch on the compressor.
It doesn't use a fan clutch. It has electric cooling fans.
Is clutch control using the accelerator and simultaneously using the clutch to control the speed of the car and coasting is when your car is still moving but your foot is off the gas peddle completely but you're of the clutch peddle to slow down????
The electronic level control is the automatic adjust ment of the rear air shocks , there is a sensor on the rear end that when the body moves past is it, the sensor turn on the air pump on the driver side near the headlights
Engine cooling fan clutch locked up.
is it a automatic clutch such as electronic shift
yes just replace the fan clutch assembly
the answer you might be looking for if it is a cooling system then it should be on this site http://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-a-clutch-fan-works
The a/c system will stop cooling and also if the clutch burns up it can throw the drive belt off of the vehicle..............
the ircm is a a module that houses relays that control operation of the a/c clutch , cooling fans and fuel pump.it is located under the air filter case.
USE special wrenches.
