It could be one of two things, dirty IACV (idle air control valve) or air in the cooling system. The IACV is the most likely culprit, you'll need to remove it and clean it really well with brake cleaner. It's located on the back of your throttle body.
because your ecu sends more fuel to warm up the engine faster
My mechanic (who I trust) replaced my O2 sensor and exhaust manifold and the problem went away.
IF its doing this only when it warms up, it might be a bad coil - is it getting gas?
Your floats might be stuck.
The question is nowehere near specific enough to answer.
its prob the thermostat i had the same problem with my uncles
Oil gets thinner when its hot. Use a slightly higher viscosity.
if it smokes when you first start it, or sometimes if it has a tic tic in the top end intill it warms up
Try checking fuel injector that is what the problem was with mine after checking everything else i replaced injector an fixes the problem
Make sure all your t/s bulbs are correct. If not sure buy new bulbs from Honda parts dept. If bulbs are correct you probably have a problem with the turn signal control module. Check all connectors for proper continuity before replacing this module as it it pricey. If you have know experience I suggest you take your car to the dealer. This is not a problem for "joe's garage"
A common problem on various ford models is distrbuter module cutout when the car warms up. This will kill the engine and it will not fire until the car cools. The module is the chip attached directly beneath the distrubuter. Replace the module and this stands a good chance of fixing the problem :)
Had same problem with 1998 ford contour gl. Replaced transmission range sensor and problem stopped.
