Here's a trick that might help. Next time it's damp and not running well, take it to a dark place, turn the lights off and open the hood to see if there are any sparks. You can often have high voltage sparking in places that you wouldn't expect, and high humidity can often help make that worse. Whatever you do, don't ever run the engine in an enclosed garage, even if that's the only place you can think of to run your car in the dark.

BTW, it doesn't need to be completely dark, just someplace where there is very low light. If you see a spark, turn on a flashlight to see exactly where it's comming from. Don't touch it! The resulting shock will be quite uncomfortable.

It's me with the car problom again. What you said i already did. NO sparks at all. i can touch any spark plug wire without getting shocked can touch the coil also. when it gets damp i can turn the key on without starting the car and after 1 or 2 mins the one fuel injector starts to make a buzzing sound. so something is getting damp and making it shoot to much gas into the motor Hello I have the same problem.Big rain storm.Car fuel injectors start buzzing.Flooding engine.Checked all ground connections, loosen an retighten.Check coolent sensor.Check computer.Check fuel presure regulater.(BE CAREFUL FUEL IS UNDER PRESURE)Check injecters. But I cannot get mine to run. Also I had my themostat removed maybe it's throwing the coolent sensor off.Can anyone help

When I had this problem, it was my ECU... Good luck

I had the same problem, also. I tried everything I could think of. I won't bore you with all the details of everything I did. Finally out of sheer desperation, I replaced the computer, as did the person above. This fixed my problem, also. It is actually a fairly easy fix if you can find a computer reasonable. I was fortunate enough to find one on eBay. Where the computer is located, water runs down and lays on the computer, and gets into the unit, and shorts things out. When I installed the replacement, I wrapped it in a plastic bag before installing it so that water couldn't get into it again....no more problems. Be blessed!
