Engine 2.3 L. So, theres fuel, and spark. This we confirm? Have the spark plugs been changed, and the gap is set? If not are the plugs good, and the right gap? The other possibilty is the timing. Was the dist. moved? And, for the big one, is there a chance that the timing chain has to be replaced. If a lot of miles, there is a possible chance that the chain has skipped a tooth or two. Was the engine running before? Has anything happened to the engine to cause this problem. There could be other problems also. Start with this. Good luck.
