Mine's a 97, but it may be the same. If you just have a headlight burned out, you only need to change the bulb, not the whole assembly, like the tail lights. Open the hood and find the socket directly behind each headlight. Twist the socket just a little until it comes loose, pull the bulb out of the socket and take it to the store to match it up with a new one.

ive had this happen in my 94 capri a couple of times.. the first time, the belt slipped.. that was annoying as i dont know how to properly time the thing and i had to pay a mechanic to do it. the other thing that it could be.. and this has happened to me more times than the previous suggestion is that a spark cable comes "unplugged" and needs to be plugged back in, or you need a new cap and rotor for your distributor..... one time i actually had to have the distributor rebuilt.. that was no fun.
Mercury was named by astronomers in 4th century BCE. The name comes from the Roman god Mercury, who was the messenger god and the fastest of the gods.
