I have the EXACT problem in my 90 daytona 3.0... I'm having a hard time figuring it out, but I'm almost CERTAIN that it's a sensor of some sort... perhaps the camshaft position sensor, but I can't seem to find where it is on the block. It's either that or the distributor isn't sending the correct timing signal to the ecu.
check odb codes and check o2 sen.

If you want the cheaper way out buy some premium gas and clean the spark plugs to see if that makes a difference and rule out the fuel pump if it is significantly better. It could also be the fuel injectors. if you indicating computer 'gives no codes' because the computer is broke, then this is your worst nightmare...new computer; but definitely try suggestion above 1st.
