clutch in transmission isn't engaging correctly, must see a transmission guy to know, and transmission would have to be replaced. Other possible is the wires going to the fuel injectors are shorting at the 8 pin connector. There are on engine near air intake.
Yes, they are equal from 1987 up to 1995
Might be a bad ignition coil
probably has a low idle, try upping it, could use a tune up probably
sounds like your ignition module
Shift into park or stop at lights and stalls etc could be a bad fuel filter.
Could be faulty ignition coils especially if engine starts when cold then stalls and will not start once warmed up.
I have a 1989 929, when its cold it runs real bad but once warmed up it has problems idleing, the car shakes and sometimes when stopped it stalls, mine is an auto, but when driving like on the highway it runs fine. Is your problem similar?
because it is not warmed up enough to stay running or you have the idle speed down too low and it not running at the right rpm to get the transmission up to speed
it is most likely going to be your thermostat needs to be replaced. and if that doesnt work than time for a new radiator.
remove back up tire in back right behind seat
Under the hood, driver side. It is up near the base of the windshield.
Does it stall when first started or ONLY once the car has warmed up ? After it stalls will it start right up again ? or does the car need to cool down before it will restart ?
