I have changed heater core, water pump, thermostat, the fon works well but only blows cold air plus i have flushed the system.
You know the heater hose on a vehicle needs replacing when it beings to swell and soften. The heater hose runs from the intake manifold to the heater core.
A number of problems can cause a swimming pool heater not to work. The most common I have found is lack of water flow. A heater needs a certain amount of water flowing through it to work correctly. The next most common problem is due to the pilot not lighting or remaining lit. This is usually due to the pilot generator not working. When you light a pilot light and have to hold it for a length of time before releasing the button you are allowing the pilot generator to heat up and then stay open to keep the pilot lit. Usually you need a licensed person to do work with changing items on a gas unit. The thermostat can be a problem for any water heater. Most of the heaters I have worked on were gas. If you have an electric heater waterflow still needs to be checked and the electrical connections can become corroded in the presence of chemically treated pool water.
Needs to be serviced/repaired
have you checked the fuses? if so, maybe the heater core needs replacing
it could be the thermostat needs to be changed or the heater core needs to be flushed out.these would be the cheaper things to try first.
The plumbing in my house needs replacing. Which is the best hot water heater on the market?
COULD BE A BAD HEATER CORE COULD BE A BAD HEATER CORE sounds like the heater control switch needs replacing.if that doesnt fix it, you need new heater core
"burnt out"needs replacement
heater core needs replacement
chances are that your heater core is leaking and needs to be replaced The coolant is draining from the heater case. This is what houses the heater core and prevents the antifreeze from flooding into the car. That elbow is the drain hose for the heater case, which means your heater core is leaking and needs too be replaced. Good luck. To access and replace the heater core the dash board needs to be removed. Est. shop(not dealer) cost =$500.00 parts and labor
If you were thinking that your oil heater needs an oil change of some sort, you were wrong. The oil is a form of mineral oil and is diathermic and is permanently sealed inside the heater. This means it never needs to be refilled.
If the heater is not working in your Eddie Bauer edition Ford Expedition, your heater core is probably junk and needs to be replaced.
