1996 Yamaha virago 535 I have a fresh battery but it won't start The lights work and the relay assembly makes a clicking noise but there is no smell of gasoline when I try to start it whats wrong?

There is a fule shutoff valve located by the back wheel. You have to look down in the wheelwell just underneath the shaft drive. Make sure this valve is not turned off and try it again. Good luck

Usually battery or solenoid. If you hear a clicking noise, it is the solenoid. find the red wire coming off the battery, follow it until it connects to the solenoid, take off the red and black wires, put new solenoid in and your done.
