I would focus on the battery cables especially the ground; if they are at all questionable, replace them . Make sure the ground is biting into clean metal and also add a extra ground strap from engine to frame or find and clean the existing one.Remember, the engine is setting on rubber motor mounts and connected with rubber cooling hoses and depends on the cables to transfer the electrical circuit.
