fuel filter... or throttle body
Well, one sign would be that the engine turns but does not fire, or engine stalls here and there.
If a Nissan Sentra stalls when making turns, check the fuel and spark. The coil may be cutting out when it gets hot.
Could be faulty ignition coils especially if engine starts when cold then stalls and will not start once warmed up.
chances are the battery is out of wack or the engine could be flooded

when your in a manual and you have the car in first gear with the clutch all out the wheels cannot move and so the engine cannot work or it will break so the car stalls and the engine turns off
OBD1 code 36 is a high res failure. Due to a bad or failing optispark distributor. My 95 has this same code and still runs but the optispark is not sending a signal to the pcm. If I crank the engine for about 7 seconds it will start every time.
Have the Ecm re-programmed for free at dealership

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes or so. Reconnect it and then start the vehicle and see if the light turns off.
It could be the alternater.AnswerSome cars have a safety switch that shuts the engine off when the oilpressure is to low, but if those lights came on when the car stalled it might be because the lights on the instrument panel that turns on when you start the car usually turns on when it stalls.
