check relays in the power distribution center.
Fuel pump, Eatx and Autoshutdown relay. Also check the fuses that go to them relays.

Something is wrong with the tach. TAke it to a seedo shop.
On my 1990 Voyager, the transmission has a "safe," or "limp" mode. If something is wrong with the trans, it will not shift out of second gear. This is supposedly to allow you to drive to the repair shop at a reduced speed.
Either the cam or crank sensor could have failed.
Your problem is prob the starter, if you hear grinding it def is, Tho if starter is good could be ignition relay

Noises are hard to diagnoise unless heard. Take it to a machanic.
