What are multi axle trucks?

A multi axle truck, refers in most occurrences, to a type of trailer that is being pulled behind a semi. In some instances a semi may be pulling one trailer behind it and other times it may be pulling two trailers. On each trailer there are two axles which attach to the tires. So if you see a sign that says $.50/axle and a semi truck is pulling a trailer, he will have to pay two dollars. One dollar for his own semi truck which has two axles and another dollar for the trailer that he is hauling.

What do flashing lights on the rear window wiper and ac buttons mean on a '98 Plymouth Voyager van?

My 97 Voyager has done the same thing. It was control panel programing, the following instructions is how to program your control panel: 1) SET BLOWER ON HIGH 2) SET MODE TO PANEL 3) SET TEMP TO COLD 4) PRESS WASH AND REAR WIPER TOGATHER AND HOLD FOR 5 SEC. IT WILL GO THROUGH A SERIES OF FLASHING, WHEN DONE THE REAR WIPER SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE FLASHING PRESS REAR WIPER TO EXIT. DO THIS WITH VAN RUNNING. This worked for my 1997 Voyager. I hope it works for yours.

I followed instructions and it worked( 98 VOYAGER ) BUT I MIGHT ADD THIS; you must wait 30-60 seconds for all the lights except the rear wiper light to go out before you hit the rear wiper button.

How do you reset the dual climate control on a 2000 Corvette?

You can try this: press the AUTO button, the current settings should be displayed, note that the system will default to MANUAL if the driver temperature settings are at the extreme, example 60 degrees F or 90 degrees F. Set the temperature you want by rotating the driver knob. The set temperature will be for driver and passenger and will be remembered each time you turn the ignition off and restart in the same settings. To start out on the passenger side, set the passenger knob in the 12 o'clock position so it will be the same temperature as the drivers side setting, you can adjust from there later. The AUTO settings will affect the fan speed and the air delivery mode. Keep in mind if you have the optional MEMORY setting, located on the drivers door, it will recall the settings for the climate control in the memory setting which is activated when you use the key fob set for it.

Why wouldn't a '98 Plymouth Voyager go into reverse?

My '96 Voyager, w/ 2.4L & 3 speed hydraulic tranny wouldn't go in reverse. I replaced with a rebuilt tranny. I took the old one apart recently to save the internals & do a forensics exam (discarding case since top mount broke in an accident years ago). I found that the rear piston had a torn rubber ring. That likely caused the problem since the rear band controls 1st & reverse. It could have torn from a burr on a side hole, but the rubber looks too soft. I suspect the rubber ring was damaged by adding "stop leak", which I recall I tried since the front seal had been leaking. It didn't fix the leak and I think they work by swelling rubber parts. I will never use it again. I probably caused the front seal leak by beating the crankshaft pulley with a sledgehammer (long story - inadvertently swaged crank to pulley during a timing belt change). I think you can remove the rear piston with the tranny in the vehicle. I didn't pay real close attention, but I think you would have to remove the valve body. Re-installing is trickier than old RWD Torqueflites, as I recall you have to reach above the valve body and pull a spring lever back on the shift detent cam, requiring 3 hands. Anyway, with the piston exposed (after removing band lever), you need to remove a large circlip. I was able to so using needle-nose pliers. You have to wiggle the clip around the piston cover while compressed and it kept popping off my pliers. The proper tool would make it easy. I haven't checked how to get a replacement rubber ring or piston assembly.

Where is the water pump located on a 1994 Plymouth Voyager?

This will be in the center part of the passenger side of the motor right next to the wheel well. The serpentine belt has to drive the pump. on a 3.0 it is located on the passenger side of the car but it is behind the timing belt and is quite a job to replace if you are a dyi. Peter

How do you reset the 'Maintenance Required' indicator on a 1992 Plymouth Voyager?

there's a test fixture you can either buy from the dealer, ugh, but if not you still have to go to the dealer and let them reset it. You might check with local repair shops that could do the resetting also. If it's the first time it has come on then you may need to have some routine maintenance done on it, in which case if you go to the dealer and have the maint. they will automatically reset it for you at not charge, otherwise they will charge you.

What is the coolant capacity of a '99 Plymouth Voyager 201 3.3 V6?

Don't know the coolant capacity for your specific model year. I have a 1990 Grand Voyager 3.3L. The coolant capacity as specified in my owner manual is 8.5 qts. The Hanes manual lists the coolant capacity for this 1999 3.3 liter engine as 10.5 quarts. Incredibly the owners manual does not list the coolant capacity. Shame on you Chrysler company.

How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 1998 Plymouth Voyager?

On some cars you open the hood, and the light socket will be right on the inside behind the fixture itself. A quarter turn counter clockwise and pull will remove the socket. Then push in while turning a quarter turn counter clockwise again will release the bulb, or on newer ones, you just pull them out as they are the spade type. On some cars you will have screws holding the lens assembly in, and it would have to be removed to replace the bulb. Then still on others, you would reach underneath the bumper.

On the 98 voyager specifically, you go in through the wheel weel. there is a small round cover that you need to remove and this will permit access to the back of the turn signal. I find it helps to turn the front of the tire inwards. Small hands are also an advantage.

How would you fix the low gas chime of a 1998 Plymouth Voyager?

I wish I knew, my 1996 Plymouth Voyager began experiencing the same problem. The low fuel alarm goes off, and the fuel guage drops to about half, then rises back to full, it only does this with the tank about 2 gallons under full, if the tank is completely full it shows empty, and when it gets near empty it shows full. I replaced the fuel pickup unit in the tank, but it still acts the same. I think it is a funky message for something else wrong. My van has 126000 miles on it. The check engine light started coming on today along with the other problem, it flashes 3 times then 2 times in a pattern.

HEY HERE IS WHAT WE FOUND OUT:::

WE HAVE A 1998 PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER SE WITH THE 3.3 ENGINE. AT ABOUT 100K IT STARTED DOING THE LOW FUEL LIGHT AND CHIME ROUTINE AS DISCUSSED ABOVE..THE FUEL GAUGE WOULD GO DOWN A BIT AND IT WOULD CHIME...AT FIRST IT ONLY DID IT RANDOMLY AND SOMETIMES IT WOULD QUIT FOR A FEW MONTHS THEN START IN AGAIN...AS TIME PASSED IT INCREASED AND WE DID FIND THAT FOR A SHORT SPELL NOT FILLING UP THE TANK ALL THE WAY WOULD HELP KEEP IT FROM DOING IT AS OFTEN...BUT MORE TIME PASSED AND SOON IT WAS CHIMING NO MATTER WHAT WE DID..IT CHIMED EVERY FEW SECONDS NON STOP UNTIL I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO LOOSE MY MIND...WE ENDED UP FINALLY TAKING IT TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP THIS PAST WEEKEND AND THEY REPLACED THE FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT. THE COST OF THE PART WAS 96.03 AND LABOR WAS 198.00 AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY LOL!!! NO MORE DINGING EVERY SECOND THAT I DRIVE! WE DID A LOT OF RESEARCH ONLINE AND SEEN THAT MANY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME VAN WE HAVE WERE ALSO HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE LOW FUEL CHIMING AND SO WE HAD AN IDEA THIS IS WHAT IT WAS, BUT WE PUT IT OFF UNTIL IT JUST WOULDNT QUIT LOL....SO, WE WANTED TO POST THIS TO HELP OTHERS WHO MAY BE GOING NUTS OVER THIS STUPID CHIMING...OH AND BY THE WAY THE CHIME SOUND CAN NOT BE DISABLED, IT IS CONTROLLED BY THE BODY CONTROL MODULE...HOW CONVIENENT HUH LOL GOOD LUCK!!!
