there is a setting on the alarm system that allows you to defeat or quiet the alarm /panic horn under the hood the alarm box is located under the drivers side seat. I get home at 3am from work and was waking up my neighbors when locking my car. The Subaru dealer will be able to activate the horn for you and it should be free because he took 10 seconds to silence mine.
If the theft lights blink, then that is just to scare criminals away and you can start it with any method you want to. If you are trying to break in(BAD), are hot-wireing it, or are messing with the onboard computer, then the car has detected you are trying to break into it and will not start.
why do the head lights blink like a strobe. Hmmm, maybe it's a old police unit. If lights are blinking like that it is a anti theft device & only will do it siting still. are on all the time just another safety device added to sell a car.
If your anti - theft system is sounding (horn honking/lights flashing) you can shut it off by pressing the panic button on your key fob.
No it is not. Karin is the real life Manufacture of Toyota. Therefore, the Karin Sultan in Gta 5 is not a Subaru

If your anti-theft system is armed ( but not triggered ) it is disarmed when you unlock the door(s) using your unlock button on your key fob, the key pad on the driver's door, or your key.
Yes

opening the door mother went in her home office turned on the lights and then the theft was discovered by her. I would leave out the passive part -- the theft was discovered by her -- and write it as past simple. I would write the whole sentence as past simple. Mother opened the door, went into her home office, turned on the lights and discovered the theft.
Some have "fake theft" lights. If the light is blinking red near the radio then it is a fake.

The procedure is covered in your owner's manual. If you don't have one you can download a .pdf file.
