Very likely it's low gas pressure or a bad coil pack. There are three coil packs on the left side of the engine. I had one go bad on my Grand prix and it had similar symptoms.
it is your temp sensor take it to taoyato dealer i have a 93 that was doing the same everyone that had it told me i was crazy finally they found the temp sensor been fixed and running fine since
i had a Chrysler product that did that years ago. have the distributor checked. it needs to be checked closely. one dealer missed it the other dealer found it by accident. it quit backing out of the shop.
A 1995 Ford F150 will start to die after running for about 15 minutes if the fuel or electrical system have a failure. A bad battery or electrical system will also prevent it from restarting.
When i was trying to disable my DRL's (Daytime Running Lights) i pulled the fuse for them and my headlights and instrument lights were flashing intermittently. Check the fuse panel in the glove box and look for the DRL fuse. Check if its blown. Hope this helps!!!

If your engine light comes on and your temp gauge is lower then normal. listen for cooling fans. if they are also running chances are you need a new thermostat
