Maybe not. While this may or may not be the case with your model, the fan(s) often work at one speed when the air conditioner is running and another speed when it's turned off. If the fan(s) are operating to cool the engine they'll generally kick into a higher speed mode when the AC engages. In some vehicles only one fan is used to cool the engine but both fans come on when the AC is functioning.
Bottom line, if your car isn't over heating you don't have anything to worry about (as long as you've changed coolant and flushed the cooling system per the schedule in your owners manual).
Cheers
You most likely have a bad blower motor resister.......
The Solara is the two-door coupe version of the Camry, and is also available as a convertible. If it's a 4-door, it would not be a Solara, but rather a Camry. The Solara coupe was discontinued at the end of the 2008 model year and the convertible was only produced in limited numbers after that.
If you have V6, you need two. In case if you have 4 cylinder engine, you need only one.
There could be many causes ranging from a bad spark plug that fails when combustion chamber pressures rise to frozen half shafts. If the vibration is only felt when you accelerate from the same speed or when passing through the same speed you might suspect tire imbalance. Of course if it's a Generation I Solara convertible then the answer is "they all do it" to some extent. The early ragtop is known for its shimmies and shakes so the issue could even be a road surface. Hopefully someone who owns a Gen I Solara will come along with an edit saying "mine did that and it was ......" Cheers
The 1999 Toyota Solara takes 22" drivers and 21" passenger side wiper blades. See sources and related links below for more information. Since there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only. Be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.
The Green AntiFreeze is the answer to this question. The only Toyota's that takes the Pink AntiFreeze are the 2006 and newer.

Toyota has lunched production of air cabin filters for Camry only in 1999.
Should be under warranty- go to the dealer and get it checked.
Camry 1999 has only on bulb for both low and high beams.
The 3 speed automatic was the only A/T installed that year. There was also a 5 speed manual.
