You have given a serial number instead of a model number, so I have no idea what deck you have. You could get the right numbers and try:

A model number would tell what deck you have.
Changing the deck belt on the Huskee IT4200 lawn mower involves working around the spring and 2 belt drive guides in the motor area. Properly loading the spring before the guides is the secret to success.
Remove the deck. First by pulling the pins that attach the lift brackets, and then remove the rear spring, and the 2 belt guides under the engine for the belt that drives the deck (1/4" socket). After the deck is out, release the spring that applies tention on the right idler pulley (you'll have to remove the 2 side pulley covers).
It's in the water near the iceberg. You need to get a life saver and a rope and attach them to pull in the spring.

You probably can but it is personal preference.
A spring scale is simply a spring fixed at one end with a hook to attach an object at the other. It works on the principle of Hookes Law, that states that the force needed to extend the spring is proportional to the distance that the spring extended from it's fixed position.
A spring balance apparatus is simply a spring fixed at one end with a hook to attach an object at the other. It works by Hooke's Law, which states that the force needed to extend a spring is proportional to the distance that spring is extended from its rest position. Therefore the scale markings on the spring balance are equally spaced.
Hydraulic jack on base of spring or spring compressor Try this, it might be easier, remove the 2 bolts that's at the top of the steering knuckle that holds the knuckle on. Put the Ball Joint back in and attach it to the knuckle then swing the knuckle back up and attach it to the strunt arm again. Should be easier then wrestling with the spring.
The kickstand spring on a Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle can be reattached by using a pair of pliers to stretch the spring. It has a considerable amount of tension and may require locking pliers.
You could use a ruler to measure its size, or a thermometer to measure its temperature.
