usually on the side of the engine by the crankshaft. The knock sensor provides the computer the position of the crank shaft to give it the right information to get correct timing. A bad knock sensor will cause it to run ruff or not at all
The knock sensor senses spark knock or pinging and sends that info to the ecm. The ecm then in turn retards the timing until the ping stops. You can test the knock sensor with the engine running, with a timing light attached watch the timing marks as you tap the engine block with a small hammer, you will see the timing retard briefly.
left side back of engine by dist.

Need to know what engine it has.
We will need to know which engine it has to answer that.
on the top of the intake
Inside the distributor.
That should be the sensor located after the catalytic converter.
i think it is the sensor located on the drivers side of the motor rite next to the middle spark plug.
The ECM controls the timing with information sent to it from sensors such as the crank sensor and the knock sensor.

what is the wiring diagram for the o2 sensor on 2000 s10 blazer. it has 4 wires. what what do they all do /
The 1994 S10 uses a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor. We need to know size engine you have in that S10.
