you have to gap the crank sensor when u install it, the sensor should have a paper in the box that tells u what to gap it at. you will need brass feeler gauges because the sensor is magnetic
Thermocycling.
Try checking for the crankshaft sensor
Pulse signals from what? speed sensor abs wheel sensor fuel pump pressure sensor crankshaft sensor camshaft sensor knock sensor
The temperature sensor is probably bad
If you have a 4g63 motor a common problem is crankwalk, this will damage or break off the sensor.
Have the speed sensor replaced.
look at the fly wheel to see if it has any missing teeth that might be the problem
I don't think so since its purpose is to balance and cancel vibration. It is mounted on the opposite end of the engine. Usually the crankshaft sensor fails because of oil contaminating on the sensor. Difference in temperature with the oil causes the sensor to malfunction intermittently.
Possible causes could be,Timing gear misaligned,Faulty crankshaft position sensor,Faulty camshaft position sensor,Engine oil dirty,Incorrect engine oil viscosity,Crankshaft position sensor circuit is open or shorted,Camshaft position sensor circuit is open or shorted,
The oxygen sensor is "done". It should be replaced.
heat, primarily. either causing degausing of the permanant magnet behind the sensor, or other thermal damage to the hall ic itself.
The crank sensor probably needs to be replaced.
