My CC went out the same time my brake lights did...replaced the fuse for the brake light and the CC worked again. Would be nice if they told me in the manual that the two are related. Also, when this fuse went out they weren't able to test my system because they weren't getting a signal from the computer...so it didn't pass inspection. All it was...was that $1.00 fuse and now everything works. The auto mechanic didn't even know this.....
Cruise control is an accessory.
It is possible to convert a car without cruise control to have cruise control. Many auto parts stores sell kits which will install cruise control in a vehicle.
There are several ways to fix the cruise control on your Mercedes-Benz depending on the problem with the cruise control. Make sure the fuse for the cruise control is not blown.
Remove the cruise control and unplug the pump. Simply disconnect the two plugs and pull the pump out of the fluid resevoir. Connect the hoses to the new pump, plug in the electrical connectors and plug the pump back into the resevoir. Make sure to hook the cruise control back up. All the controls on the steering wheel are ran through the cruise control. By not plugging the cruise back up, you will not have a horn, radio controls, etc... 2004 sebring convertable cruise control not working - what to do?
There is no isolated fuse for the cruise control. It all runs off the 20A gauges fuse. If you are having trouble with the cruise control I would check the Cruise Control Module or the Cruise control Servo. What symptom is occurring?
If the cruise control on your 1987 300ZX does not work, you might have an issue with the cruise control fuse or wiring. You could also have a problem with the switch that turns the cruise control on and off.
no
To use the cruise control on the PT Cruiser, turn the cruise control on in the steering wheel. Accelerate to the desired speed and push in the end of the left turn signal knob. The cruise control should then control the speed. To take the car out of cruise control, a person can tap the brake.
1) turn on cruise control (a light should turn on somewhere) 2) increase or decrease speed to desired mph 3) press button or apparatus to set or reset cruise 4) take foot off gas peddel and the car should maintain steady speed. I've had 2 VW's and the cruise didn't work in either one....perhaps your cruise just doesn't work.
The cruise control fuse can be found in the fuse box. The cruise control fuse will be at the bottom of the first column.
No. The cruise control will maintain the vehicle speed you have selected.
