I had the same problem with my 2000 Silverado. After spraying, it made the squeaks worse. The problem is that belt dressing works only for loose v belts. Not serpentine belts. The reason is the spray has a sticky adhesive that sets up causing the belt to drag on the pullies, compounding the problem. I had to have my belt replaced and the pullies cleaned by a shop.

Don't know whether my experience is "normal", but just replaced my serpentine belt on my 2006 Civic at about 59,000 miles. Started hearing some screeching for a few seconds on starting the engine when the weather was wet.
