The starter solenoid is probably sticking, causing it not to retract the gear and spin with the engine. If it only lasts for a few seconds, then that's what it is. If it keeps squeaking for a long time, it may be the serpentine belt.
bad wheel bearings will do that, usually in the front.
need to get your wheel bearings checked
could be the rear strut bushings are bad.
The cause of the whining noise in the front end of a 2004 supercharged Monte Carlo, especially during cold weather, is the idler pulley. This is located at the driver's side of the engine between the alternator and a/c pump.
Maybe a bearing in the compressor
no but, it causes your voice box to get a high pitched noise when you talk
Im not 100% sure. but i have a 97 Monte Carlo. and i think i have isolated the sound to the gas tank expanding and contracting. it has a plastic gas tank, and the sound sounds similar to a plastic drum/barrel/container clunking from expanding/contracting.
you cant if rattling noise occures its a worn lifter very common on 3.1 motors
Sounds like wheel bearing, (possibly drive axle if FW drive).
might be your struts, or more than likely since it happens when you turn it is probably a CV joint
CV joints (constant velocity joints) get them replaced or you're gonna be in trouble real soon. Not very expensive to replace.
there is no way to tighten your belt it has an automatic belt tensioner if it is making noise it may be the tensioner or the belt also check to see if it routed correctly
