2000 grand prix just changed batteries in key less remote and now it won't lock the doors or set alarm but the trunk opens and the doors unlock?

I believe the newer grand prix /bonnevelle etc use a rolling generated code for the security sys and the rest, need to figure out procedure to catch remote back up to car and 'sync' them look in the manual for the car if u have one. Otherwise call dealer thell tell you.
