I have a Acura 2002 TL and these both were flashing and my car just needed a tuneup and they went off and stayed off
Every vehicle has warning lights to inform the driver of things going on. The check engine light comes on because there is something going wrong with the engine.
the check engine light goes on and all the other lights ABS, brake, trac keep coming on and going off
you need to check your lights to make sure that the light is not going out!!! A flashing CEL typicly means that there is a misfire.
Well, it costs around approximately five hundred dollars to repair check engine lights. However, I would recommend going to Canadian Tire to get it fixed though.
If the lights are going off and the car dies at the same time it sounds like a bad ground. Check your battery post terminals. Make sure they are tight. Also check where the ground wire from the battery mounts to the engine. Check the positive cable at the starter. Make sure it's tight.
The light means that there is a possible emissions problem. When it turns on and off, that means the problem itself comes and goes. It is an indicator that some servicing is required.
I know why BRAKE Lights come on after some time ..... I also used to get that in my Maxima 1992. U need to fix Brake Pads or Brake Shoes ... that will get rid off the Brake lights that I know for sure ... I do not know about Battery Light ... may be u need to check the battery try pouring COKE or PEPSI on battery contacts (-)ve and (+)ve ... so as to get rid off oxide deposits ...When the lights come on, check your alternator voltage. It should be approximately 13.8 VDC. If it's much lower (12.7 or lower), your alternator is going bad intermittently.
there is no distributor on a 2000 maxima, each cylinder has its own ignition coil with a approx, six inch lead going to the spark plug, ft. 3 coils are located under the nameplate on the ft. side of engine and the back three are located between the air plum
your engine might be overheated, causing the vibrations
doors/locks, kids, lights, stove, alarm clock
If the check engine light is blinking that means that an engine cylinder misfire has been detected
Check the fuse box, also make sure that wire which going along the hinge on the driver's side is not damaged.
