Mine turned out to be the clutch.
It's either a bad switch or an intermittent connection in one of the wires.
If the horn works intermittently there is an intermittent short in the wiring that goes to the horn from the battery. Trace the wiring back to where its bare or cracked and make a weatherproof splice with waterproof tape.
When an electric bell is operated, a current pass through an electro-magnet intermittently. The plunger moves back and forth due to intermittent magnetic operation. The moving plunger or lever connected to it hits a metallic body intermittently to ring the bell. The movement of plunger itself cuts off and cuts in the electric circuit intermittently.
A motor that works intermittently would make me suspect a loose wire or a speed control switch that was corroded or going bad.
If you mean the fan blows but sometimes the air is cold, it probably is low coolant (antifreeze) level in the radiator. Check the level AT THE RADIATOR, not the overflow tank, while the truck is cold.
if it works intermittently, check the wiring/plug connections under the seat. If it never works, change the relay/ and or fuse. also check the plug behind the seat heater button on the door.

Could it be that you are just low on coolant?
