How many miles or cycles have you put on the engine since cleaning? Some computers require you to put x amoutn of miles and start and stop cycles before clearing the check engine light. My 1997 pick up, it would take like 50 miles and a day or two of regular driving before it would go off. I hope it clears for you..............

That is the gold color rod that the pilot flame burns on. It is a safety device that tells he heating system if the pilot is burning. It is inexpensive and should be changed if you are going to pull the pilot assembly and clean it any way.
