I know on my 1995 Explorer XLT, in the fuse panel, on the driver's end of the dash (the cover is visible with the driver's door open ) there is a 10 amp fuse in location # 20 for the radio and 4 other things, and a 15 amp fuse in location # 29 for the audio system. If you can post your question again, with a little more information, year , model , problem , etc. I'll see what I can do to help.
Check owner's manual. If you don't have one copy and paste link below; www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals
In the fuse panel on the drivers end of the dash ( the fuse panel removable plastic cover panel is visible with the drivers door open ) fuse # 29 - 25 amp - radio fuse # 20 - 7.5 amp - radio , RAP module , GEM fuse # 28 - 7.5 amp - radio , GEM , memory seat
Radio has it's own fuse in the back of the radio
The radio fuse is used for the CD player on a 2003 Honda Accord. To reset the radio pulled the specified fuse out of the fuse box.
I have a 1991 G20, and the radio suddenly quit working; the FSM specifically indicates a FUSE at the back of the radio head unit. but even at VERY close scrutiny i.e. disassembling the radio, no fuse could be located.
The fuse box is to the left of the clutch pedal. The radio fuse is in the top row, second from the end (I think).
fuse # 29 - 25 amp for radio
On a 1997 Explorer, in location # 20 of your fuse panel, there is a 7.5 amp fuse for the radio, and in location # 29 there is a 10 amp fuse for the audio system.I'm not sure if there also is a fuse on the back of your radio.
On a 1999 Ford Explorer , there are 2 fuses in the fuse panel on the driver's end of the dash ( the cover is visible with the driver's door open ) for the radio. In location # 29 is a 10 amp fuse for the radio and In location # 20 is a 7.5 amp fuse for the radio / GEM / and rap module (Helpfull) On a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport the radio fuse/relay location # is 28 a 7.5 amp fuse, 29 a 25 amp fuse, and 34 and 36 which control the CD function and are both 7.5 amp fuses.
as long as there is power to the radio the fuse is not the problem
on your 1996 in the fuse panel on the driver's end of the dash - visible with the driver's door open - in location # 20 is a 7.5 amp fuse for the radio and in location # 29 there is a 10 amp fuse for the audio system. I don't know if there is a fuse on the back of your radio or not.
In the fuse panel on the drivers end of the dash ( the fuse panel removable plastic cover panel is visible with the drivers door open ) fuse # 29 - 25 amp - radio fuse # 20 - 7.5 amp - radio , RAP module , GEM fuse # 28 - 7.5 amp - radio , GEM , memory seat
use a nather one close to that many amps
In the fuse panel on the drivers end of the dash ( the removable plastic fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open ) fuse # 29 - 25 amp - radio also , fuse #20 - 7.5 amp - radio , RAP module , GEM ( generic electronic module ) fuse # 28 - 7.5 amp - radio , GEM , memory seat
I was looking at the 1996 Ford Explorer Owner Guide and it shows : In the fuse panel IN the drivers end of the dash ( the fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open ) ( # 20 is a 7.5 amp fuse for the radio , power antenna , GEM system , anti-theft , and cellular phone ) ( # 29 is a 10 amp fuse for the audio system ) ( # 34 is a 7.5 amp fuse for the Luxury audio system )
Yes it does..............at the pedals, there is a small box, that's the fuse box. It has one fuse to audio or a radio while the room fuse also have to do with the radio too. ( if you want to see a diagram of the fuse box online , check out www . motorcraft service . com and click on Owner Guides )
There are several reasons this may happen. No power. It may be the fuse, a break in the wiring or the radio itself may be beyond repair
if there's one when you open up the passengers door then its that one.
