Change the Transmission Fluid, that helped my 2001 Ford Focus, it was doing the same thing.
engine mounts Part number "Anchor 2938" about 25 bucks online about 45 bucks in the store.
takes about 15 min to change once you have all your tools out where you can find them check out this helpful vid

Dont rule out a broken flex pipe (those things are notorius also) but generally the noise is not related to cold mornings.
