2003 dodge neon that will start but will not stay running and dies after it starts?
weak fuel pump.
Dirty carburetor.
check for a vehicle theft system?? Is the Light Illuminated. does it stay on:::
If it starts but doesn't stay running after you release the key from the start position, it means your ignition switch is bad. Not a huge expense.
probably failed throttle bypass solenoid or possibly throttle position sensor
Make Model and Year please.
sounds like a fuel problem change the fuel filter first
My car starts and runs fine .Yours may need a fuel filter or pump.
Check for a vacuum leak or disconnected vacuum line
if it starts i might need the carburetor tuned or cleaned or check the spark plug gap
check you ecu under the kick plat on the pasanger side then you might have to change you ptu
