The door ajar can be several things. I will list them in the order of their relative probablility: 1. A door is not fully closed or the sensor which reads whether it is closed or not is malfunctioning. Test them by pushing them in one by one by hand while the car is on and see if this fixes it. 2. Your trunk is not closed or the sensor is broken. The sensor is part of the trunk lock core so it is expensive to replace. 3. You blew a fuse (specifically the one connecting to the battery saver relay) 4. The battery saver relay is broken. This would make your power mirrors, dome light, trunk light not work, and would turn on the door ajar light on your cluster. If the gear selector button won't push in, it is most likely mechanical in nature. If you can, remove the center plastic console and gear selector (there is a small black screw which holds in the gear selector) Try reassembling to see if this works. If this is too much for you, a shop would be able to fix both problems fairly cheap (Probably 1-2 hours labor @ 60$/hour)
Check the fuse.
you hit the button on your shifter, green light means over drive is off, on dash ,,you should drive car in over drive unless ,,you pull a trailer ,or boat or something...
