Around 120 for parts
around 600.00 for labor
around 100 for an alignment
total 820.00 or so
The 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer has two different lower ball joints depending on whether it is a 2 or 4WD model. A low quality and budget lower ball joint can run around 5$ wholesale. A premium and preferable OE replacement lower ball joint is around 25$. The AC Delco Professional part# for a 2WD lower is 45D20226 and 45D2104. The labor to replace a single lower ball joint and realignment of the vehicle should cost no more than $200.

Replace defective part
Raise the car up and check out the lower ball joints. You can grab the upper arm and if it rocks you need to replace the lower ball joints. Also look at the outer tie rods and suspension components
if you do not have no experience in fixing car, do not do it
