Hi,
There is one fuse for the two front power outlets (1 cigarette lighter and 1 power outlet) and a different fuse for the rear Electrical outlet.
I believe the fuse for the front two is fuse 17, and the rear is fuse 22. I have included a link to the fuse diagram for your reference.
Good Luck, Greg
It is in the fuse panel on the part of the dash hidden by the inside of the driver's side door. In a 2000 Jimmy it is a 20V fuse located in position 13. The 2002 should be the same. If you look in the vehicle manual, you should find the fuse diagrams near the back; it is the one named Aux Power.
In the fusebox directly behind the battery. It is a 20A fuse, of the same type that is in the fuse panel by the steering wheel.
I wish someone would answer. I have the same problem. All three outlets dead.
: The fuse in the same housing of the main fuse box, just on the back side (the housing should be off white). You will need a flash light to see the four fuses on the other side, it is the 20amp.
If it is the ashtray cigarette lighter, it would be the number 14 fuse which is a 15 amp fuse. This is true only if the set up for the '02 model is the same as for the '97. I have an 02 continental. I can't figure out the fuse for the center consul's cigarette lighter and phone aux fuse number either. But for the cigarette lighter by the ashtray, it's fuse #14 and uses 20A.
I just had the same problem and finally found the fix. My problem was for a 2005 trailblazer. There should be fuse box under one of the rear seats. Look in your manual. The fuse will not say accessory power outlets, but will read Auxiliary Power and should be a 20w fuse. I just fixed mine and they all now work again. Hope this helped. Forget the other guys posting.
Hi, The fuse that supplies power to the door locks is located under the hood, just above the battery. This same fuse box also has a bunch of relays that control other functions of the van. The same fuse that supplies power to the door locks also supplies power to the lighter socket. I believe this is "big fuse" and is number 7. There should be a label on the inside of the fuse box cover that tell you what fuse it is. If the lighter socket is working, you could have another type of problem, as the door locks are control by the Body Control Module (BCM). I have included a link to a picture and diagram of the fuse box. Good Luck, Greg
Added to that, and assuming that you're asking because your license plate light is out, and because the fuse is the same fuse for the tail lights, then the problem is not the fuse. It's the license plate light itself. === It should be the same fuse as the taillights.
The 2002 Chevrolet avalanche horn and trailer lights have different fuses. The fuses can be found in the fuse box. The location of the fuses can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Hi, I have a link below that shows several views of the hood latch for a 2001 model Venture, but I am pretty sure they are the same between these years. Good Luck, Greg
You can change the fuse on the passenger side of the dash, open the door, there is a fuse box door. the fuse you want to change is the first row, 3rd one down on the left. If only one window isn't working it is not a fuse. I would chek into the switch it is a weak link in the older vans. i had the same prob. on my venture 2001 and a was the switch. cost at the dealer about $80 easy to replase
If they both stopped working at the same time - check the fuse. Fuse # 20 in the underdash fuse panel.
