It's pretty easy to remove the window switch on that year Lincoln. Take a small screw driver and pry up on the window switch carefully and it will pop out of the door panel. Here's also a link to a video that will show you how to do this.
A 1992 Ford F1 50 pickup truck window switch wiring diagram can be obtained from most Ford dealerships. The window switch wiring diagram can also be found in most Ford service manuals.
On a ( 2000 ) Lincoln Navigator the rear window defroster switch is located in the dash below the headlight switch
you can by pass the switch, get wiring diagram and figuare out wich wires are for window motor you need rolled up, then remove switch and put power to wire that will make motor roll window up
Probably a short in the switch needs to be changed.
First, check to see if you hear anything when you try the window switch, if nothing and the other window works probably the window switch. Could also be the motor but try the switch first, it's a lot cheaper.
To bypass the switch you will need a wiring diagram or have to use a vom meter to find the wiring layout. The local dealer can provide you with a diagram.
You have a short in the cluster.
Pop out the switch panel and remove the two screws disconnect the wiring and reinstall the new switch
un plug the connector at the window regulator, check for 12V, if you have it when you press the switch up or down, its your regulator, if not it mat be the window switch or a problem further up a wiring diagram Justin
WINDOW SWITCHES GO OUT VERY OFTEN....GO TO FORD AND BUY A NEW ONE.....ABOUT $85.00.................
well, if my calculations r correct, behind the dashboard
There is a switch that allows you to open and close the Lincoln Navigator rear side windows. The switch is located on the overhead console.
