2003 buick rendezvous parking brake indicator light keeps coming on while driving?

I suspect it is because the pedal return is weak. My Park Avenue does the same thing. I can lift the pedal with very little pressure from my toe and the indicator goes off.

If the brake fluid level is low in the brake master cylinder in the engine compartment that will cause your " brake " light to come on just like engaging your parking brake does

over use of brakes, or parking brake set while driving, or possibly dragging brakes on both sides (not likely). Check the parking brake!

Chances are is a corroded wire in the wheel speed sensor wires or your front wheel bearing which is a common problem for the rendezvous

You should always stop when pulling out of a parking lot onto a road. There may be a car coming fast in one direction as you look in another.
