If you don't have fire at the plug, change the crank sensor first, then the coil.

2003 jeep wrangler will crank but wont start checked fuel and spark and okay. is there anyway to adjust the timing?

No, timing is not adjustable. If timing is not correct a part has failed.

1999 Chrysler Cirrus not firing what could be causing this It just had a new timing belt put on?

has the engine run since new timing belt put on? if not whoever did the work, didnt get the timing right.

An engine cranks slowly when the starter is activated Technician A says the starter circuit should be checked Technician B says the engine timing should be checked Who is correct?

a, the battery condition should be checked first to make sure that its capable of turning over the starter, a weak battery will cause the majority of starter problems, if the battery is fine then its more than likley to be a problem with the actual starter or poor connections on the starter, i have only ever had 1 with a wiring problem, as for the timing out it will not cause slow cranking unless its well out causing piston to valve contact this is only possible if the belt has slipped or it was timed up wrong on refitting a new belt so b is highley unlikley but not impossable. Checking the timing went away with the distributor.

Your 1998 Chrysler sebring convertible lxi v6 wont start has no spark but turns over no previous problems just didnt want to start all of a sudden?

check all the fuses, check fuel pump, check power to ignition coils You might also check to determine whether the timing chain is broken. Have had previous experience with cranking but no ignition with the timing chain as the culprit. There are many reasons on why it might not run, There are many sensors that might be the blame for the motor not to stay running. The crank position sensor or the cam position sensor which is located on your distributor. Your distributor cap and rotor can be worn. Your O2 sensors. Your throttle position sensor. All of these are ran by your computer(ECM), and if any go bad they can cause your computer to freak out and run very poorly or not run at all. I hope this has helped any if not at all.

What causes no compression on 2.7 Liter Chrysler engine?

Broken cam or timing chain is the most likely cause.
