2005 Chevy Cobalt Dashboard lights have gone out around the Speedometer - Fuel Gauge area- Would this be a fuse or bulb issue?

Pull the old fuse out.
Press a new fuse (of same rating) into place.
Have to add my 2 cents,lol. If you are lucky, it could be something simple like a fuse or a bulb. But sometimes, it could be an electrical issue, which does happen. I had a chevy trailblazer that had major electrical issues so after you try the first two suggestions, if that does not resolve the problem, I would lean toward electrical and contact an Auto Electrician.

you have to pull the entire speedometer cluster on the back of it you will see little lights turn them until they come out and replace them with new ones

Its the fuse and if not its the fuse Boxs. by the cluch or brake peddle.

There is a knob on your dashboard that you can turn to set the brightness of your dash lights and interior lights. If you have this knob turned all the way down, the interior light will not come on when you open the doors, and your dashboard lights will be dark. If this is not the solution to your problem, look for a blown fuse in your fuse box.
