Pry off the small rubber stopper under the steering column. Insert screwdriver or pen far enough to move the lever inside, key should turn and be able to be pulled out.
I am having the same problem with my 2005. I have been discontecting the battery to turn the car off, but now I can not get it to pass inspection because the catylist and evaporation sensors will not read ready.
i guess the auto theft system was activated
Yes (all Azteks have the same engine. Mind you, Azteks were only made from 2001-2005) - GM 3400 3.4-liter V6 185 Horse Power and 210lbs of torque. Many GM cars have this engine, including the Pontiac Grand Am, which says "RAM AIR" under the hood, but has no such thing. :-D lol
if it has a lock like mine....use ur ignition key.
Check the fuse box on the passenger side under the hood, there is a fuse marked accessory and it is very common for these fuses to blow in aztecs. 20Amp fuse!
run wire from red power wire on stereo to fuse panel .crimp blade terminal on the wire and slide it into one of the ignition (ign) slots
Not very likely, as there is no such thing as a 2005 Pontiac Trans Am.
where is the starter located on 2005 pontiac sunfire
do you have a diagram for pontiac grand am 2005 thermostat
TRY THIS OPEN HOOD--WITH ONE HAND PUSH IN ON THE HEADLITE, WITH THE OTHER HAND, INSIDE, PULL UP ON A WHITE PLASTIC RETAINING CLIP---THE ASSEMBLY IS RELEASED--PULL IT OUT, FORWARD, THEN CHANGE BULB AND REINSTALL. BUDSBAND
try turning the ignition key to on (don't start) and depressing the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
Pontiac Torrent was created in 2005.
